Re: The 60-66 "Pay It Forward" thread!
You could always throw them on the back of a wagon and pull them around the Pomona swapmeet this Sunday with a "Free" sign. Even if someone doesn't have a need for them on a C10 they work great to hold down the legs of a canopy in the wind

Re: The 60-66 "PAYING IT FORWARD" thread!
I have a bunch of stuff. Was trying to sell it on CL but none of it is moving. So, if you are reading this it's all free!!!! come and get it.
'65 cab! ( no I don't have a title for it) small back window, rust in the usual floor areas but very fixable. 230 inline 6 ran when pulled two years ago stock drum MC Stock manual steering gear stock spindles & steering arms Stock mechanical gas pedal linkage stock in-cab gas tank with sending unit. Saginaw 3 speed with linkage and hurst floor shifter there are probably a couple other things I'm forgetting and can add later. Everything is in Minturn Colorado, I really don't have the time ship anything but CO is beautiful this time of year, and what better excuse for a road trip other than to get parts!!! |

Re: The 60-66 "PAYING IT FORWARD" thread!
Just want to say thanks those you who have set set this up. I still can't believe in a world where most people only watch out for #1, that there seems to be so many here that are willing to help others.
Cleaning up the garage a bit, tired of messing with CL and the spammers there. I have the following item I would like to pass on: 2- Rear Coils Springs of my 62. Stock Height 4- American racing wheels, think they are the "Sliders model", comes with full set of chrome nuts and center caps. Misc 60-66 instrument cluster parts will have to dig these out to see what I still have. All items are yours for the cost of the shipping. Sure I will find some other stuff... Thanks to all! Pappyx4!

Re: The 60-66 "PAYING IT FORWARD" thread!
Drivers Fender in my panel pile now gone to Andy Über Cool for his truck. Martin MJH1965 will be collecting, or I may drop it off at his place.
Other panels still stashed behind the garage for any UK/European or any other guys that may need them. Just send a PM. Thanks to Pappyx3! for the ashtray front for my truck as mine has has not got a handle. It makes another job complete. And to Jonathan 1963c-10 for the spotlight, never dreamed of owning a part I always loved on people's cars and trucks. Also thanks to Ta2Don for receiving and storing these parts till I get to see him in October for Clemdaddy's party.

Re: The 60-66 "PAYING IT FORWARD" thread!
I bought this front parking brake cable from Inline Tube back in February only to discover that it was wrong for my application. P/N BST6407 (my truck took the BST6601 I ordered later and installed today). So many people on this forum have been really helpful getting my truck up and running, I figured I'd pay it forward starting with this. I'm in Connecticut. Give me your ZIP and I'll give you the actual shipping cost. |

Re: The 60-66 "PAYING IT FORWARD" thread!
I just wanted to say Thank You to everyone who has offered parts for free outside of shipping. Paying it forward can be the biggest reward of all. Helping others with no expectations of your own. That is what this is all about. I was worried this might become a Want to Sell type thread but I commend everyone for playing by the rules.
This is what makes this community rock!!!! Keep it up guys and gals!

Re: The 60-66 "PAYING IT FORWARD" thread!
Love the idea of this thread, we are constantly passing around parts among our local group here in OKC. Common theme is if i cant use it and i dont have anything in it why would I charge someone else that can use it for it. On that note anyone in the central Oklahoma area needing a set of Inner fenders come get em. light rust in the usual spots but def fixable.

Change in payment of shipping, would like to do as Aerotruk63 suggested, I will pay the shipping on the SMALL parts, if you will make a donation to Zane's Ride. We all win, You help me clean out some much needed space in the garage, you get parts for your ride and Zane's ride get some funds to continue its progress. Thanks,
