stepside bed install

As the title says im trying to install my stepside on my 58 and cant find any pics of the rear mounting points. My frame has two different holes at the rear and I cant remember which one the bed mounts to. Any help or pics would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Tony

Re: stepside bed install

Do you have a Shortbox or a longbox? each are different being that if you take the inner chrome rails and match them inside the box it should line up the holes if u put the box close enough to the cab, which i think is like a 1 inch gap, I cut my long box into a short box, so i have been doing a bit of research, as well as comparing old parts to new ones.

Re: stepside bed install

the way the rear sill lays on top of the frame in the back, theres only one set of holes that works. if you have the bed on the truck now, i cant see how you could use the wrong holes ? it mounts in the set of holes closest to the back of the frame
