Motor Mount Perches For 66 W/85 Disc Brake Conversion

So I finally got the disc conversion done on the 66 I'm doing a frame off on and don't have the correct perches for my sbc. It's a 66 with the complete front crossmember and discs from a 85. What perches do I need to be able to use the style of motor mounts from the 85 ? I've seen it on here before, just can't find it now

If you want to use the style of engine mounts used on the '85, you will need the frame brackets (perches) from a '73-'86 C20, C30 or a '87-'91 R2500, R3500.

I was going to go this route in my 66' with my 5.3 swap. I have a set of frame perches from a 78' C20. But it wasn't just a bolt and go. I would've had to trim my frame some. I ended up using my stock perches. I'm going to list the 78' C20 perches in the classifieds in the next few days.

Or do as Tx Firefighter recommended, get a set of '68-'71 big block mounts
