1970 Chev Blazer Production Numbers

Anyone know the production numbers of a 1970 Chev Blazer 2wd with the inline 6 with 3 on the column?

I know in 1970 there were 985 2wd blazers made but how many with the inline 6?

anyone know?

I have never seen a3s for the specific engine groups. Chevrolet did not seem to document things like that or it sure seems that way.

If the truck is from Canada you can request an information packet from GM Canada. It's costs about $50 but they will send you a sheet that shows the production numbers for that model as well as the selling dealer, date and all the options.

Search for GM Canada vintage services.

Thank you for that link . I actually did that today. Turns out, there were only 10 of these of the same model, in Canada . I will share some photos of my new blazer soon!

Re: 1970 Chev Blazer Production Numbers

I worked at the GM plant in Oshawa for 30 years, and never heard of the Blazers being built there. I think we only built the pickups.

The truck only had to be sold in Canada to have the information available, it could be built in the U.S. and sold in Canada.

The converse is true, too: Vehicles built in Canada for US consumption are also available through GM of Canada.

My Chevelle was built in Oshawa for sale to me in Michigan and they had the build documentation.
