Re: August 2015 - Side Step
I would like to thank everyone who voted for ol Goldilocks. I appreciate it, it's a great birthday present to win the contest.
I know she's not all tricked out but she is unmolested and original. I plan to keep her just as she is, especially now that I know others appreciate her for what she is. Thanks again.

Re: August 2015 - Side Step
Yes yes. I was shocked myself when I seen the other trucks I was against. I actually didn't think I'd have a chance.
I certainly appreciate all who voted for me.

Re: August 2015 - Side Step
Your truck won because it is a good looking truck. Classic look/original.
I saw a '87 short bed / original ( of course, very ca-lean )... It sold at an auction on TV today for $15,000.

Re: August 2015 - Side Step
As one has already mentioned, it's original only once. Sometimes it's more work to keep it that way than to redo or modify.
Congratulations, Jim I don't know who voted for my '57, but I want to sincerely want to thank all of you as well. Thanks, Jim

Thanks everyone. What an awesome birthday present to win the TOTM.
By the way, all of the trucks in the contest are winners in my book. Mighty fine trucks out there.
