Truck Intake swap

For those that have swapped the truck high intake to a passenger intake, what parts do I keep from the truck set up?
I realize the truck will provide more low end torque but I am dealing with a clearance issue.

Here is what I am starting with.
I have a build thread in Alt Tinkering's

Re: Truck Intake swap

I've seen the swap done while retaining the truck accessories but you'll have to relocate the idler pulley on the alternator/ps pump bracket. There might be more involved than that like trimming the bracket but I don't remember. I'll try to find the info tomorrow if I'm not to busy. I think the 5th gen camaro accessories have the same offset as the truck if you want to keep the water pump but I'm not sure if they'll give you clearance issues down low around the frame. Holley also makes some nice brackets is you want them to appear stockish and it moves the AC and power steering pump up to help with clearance down low. I have no idea what would work best for that beautiful chassis you have though. Good luck

Re: Truck Intake swap

Yes if you want to keep the truck accessories get the dirty dingo idler re-location bracket, moves the idler pully down and over to below the alternator.

As for water pump, a 07+ truck pump or 5th gen Camaro pump will move the water outlet down and keep the truck belt spacing.
