Re: 1984 M1008 build

Looks like a shackle flip with longer shackles, probably close to 4" and front springs @ the same too. I'm curious about those wheels, first glance I thought they were HMMWV beadlocks, the rears looked spaced but not the fronts?

I'm dying to find a straight CUCV brush guard, looks like there was one on there.

Nice build, more details, more pictures!

I have flip shackles on the back and 52" springs and zero rates on front. I also removed the factory shock mounts, install new mounts and longer travelling shocks. Added braided brake lines. I replaced the kingpin bushings and installed a Rancho steering stabilizer and crossover steering. The tires are 37" baja's, I've grooved and sipped one and I should finish this weekend. The wheels are HMMWV beadlocks, which I had to add 2" spacers so they would fit. I made a new battery mount and a few other little things. I have a mile marker 10.5K hydraulic winch for the front and a warn 18K winch I'll be mounting in back.

Yes, still has the 6.2 and running strong. Most of the running gear is stock, Dana 60 and 14 bolt (detroit locker) with 4.56 gears, and turbo 400.

Not sure.. I'm probably going to finish up a few things, play with it a little and then sell it. I have another one similar that I would like to turn into a shortbed. I really don't have time or money for both.
