That's quite the 6 lugger, or is that 6 shooter?
Seriously though, very sharp truck!

haha, those are the shift knobs for the trans and 4x4. I thought they were pretty cool w/ the 6 shooter on the glove box

I don't want to comment before all the facts are in but I think the previous owner might have been a gun nut.

Not a dang thing wrong with that one! I Love the 4 eyes! Looks like it's got a set of blue dial spicers on it too!

Thanks! I believe it may, I've never owned an early model 4x4 so I'm excited to try it out!

Re: Picked up this 72 GMC over the weekend.

I think you need a matching mural on the hood to go along with the one on the glove box. But, that is a cool truck.

Re: Picked up this 72 GMC over the weekend.

Thank you all! Not sure what size tire to put on it with the 4" lift. I'm thinking 33's but debating the 35's, just not sure how the rear end will hold up w/ 35's. @SoCo10, I can see how you'd think that, very similar looking!

Re: Picked up this 72 GMC over the weekend.

My dad had a 71 k/10 with 38s back in the mid 90s and it got wheeled pretty good. He went thru a few clutches but never had a problem with the 12 bolt rear. If it's in good condition and maintained, it should be fine with 35s.
