will 02 C5 Corvette Exhaust Manifolds work for our conversions? (67 chevy truck) any advantage to using these over the tbss manifolds?

Not up on the 67's but use whatever clears the frame rails.

I attempted to use c5 Z06 manifolds on my ls6 build into my 712wd blazer. Neither side would fit. Sawed them up and welded the collectors at different angles. Eventually I gave up and bought headers. Not sure if all c5 manifolds have the same design???

I test fit truck manifolds on my truck. Ended up using a non-egr truck manifold on the passenger side, flange is pretty close to the frame but it fits. On the drivers side, I was able to fit the truck manifold, however flange ends up inside the frame rail, it clears everything however but didn't work in my application since the outlet was right inline with the clutch slave, you won't have this problem with an automatic. I believe the "Fred" build also used truck manifolds. This is with 1" setback plates. I used a 2000 Camaro manifold on the driver's side which cleared the stock slave nicely.

Your best bet is going to be either TBSS manifolds or a set of 5th gen Camaro manifolds. 4th gen Camaro manifolds can also be made to work.

ls3 camaro manifolds ftw. ctsv lsa manifolds will work too

Michael, the 2010+ Camaro manifolds work great are are relatively cheap, $100 or so. Just make sure you get the downpipes/collectors to go with them.
