My New Toy
Hey all, I just got an awesome deal on this '69 K20. It's in great shape, but will definately be getting tinkered with for awhile. Can't believe I finally found one in such excellent shape for a good price. Stay tuned as it gets a few "enhancements".

Thanks for the welcome. Let's just say I got a VERY good deal . . . . $$$ What would you say it's worth? It has a very good running 350, 4 speed, power steering, non-power brakes. Everything works. No a/c. Body has a dent in the right rear, but nothing serious. Tell me what you think it's worth and I'll tell you what I paid for it . . .

P.S. How tough would it be to convert to power brakes? I have a '79 K10 that has the power booster. Is it just a bolt on job with a little brake line plumbing, or is it more complicated than that?

to convert to power brakes you need a booster, the big bracket that goes behind it and the rod that goes thru the firewall and im pretty sure thats all you need. this stuff need to come off of a 67-72 by teh way

if it ran good and rust is minimal, i'd say its worth $3-$5k...but I could be wrong.

The neat thing about these trucks is that you can still get a deal. I'll say $1,700 if it is "The price is right" rules I may win.
