6.0 LQ4 into an 87 R20 Suburban

Starting my 6.0 lq4/ 4L80 trans swap into my 87 R20 2WD Suburban.
Asking for any advice/tips from people that have done this swap before.
Any clearance issues with exhaust manifolds or oil pans I need to know about?
Heard the stock A/C compressor won't work and i'm prepared to replace with a Saden compressor later.
Thanks in advance!

Check out the Tejas Steelworks swap guide on Facebook. It is geared specifically towards swaps in the 73-87 trucks and has a lot of great info and part numbers. They also sell their own mounts, aluminum fan shroud, and trans crossmember (if you need it).
