9.5" wheel with 285mm tire on the front?

looking at running an 18x9.5 with a 285/40. this tire is 27" tall and 11.42" sidewall to sidewall. the truck will have CPP modular drop spindles and 79 C10 control arms with 2" drop springs. currently have 275/60/15 on 8" rallies all around with no rubbing anywhere. possible to fit this 18" wheel/tire combo under the front without rubbing?

That is a LOT of wheel and tire for the front. Can't say I have seen anyone go that big on one they will actually drive. I'd say and 8 or 8.5 wide rim with about a 245/ 40/45 would be about the size.

Here is some pictures. I run the 245/45/18 Nitto 555s. Front and 295/45 rear. If your lower the inner fenders will rub with a wide tire.

The truck is currently lowered with cut spring (that way when I bought it) and has a 275 on the front without any rubbing. I may order the rear wheels and tires and see how they fit on the front. If I don't like them, I'll order a set of 8" wide with some 255s.
