73-80 Dash trim

So the dilemma is I have a 73 non AC truck that I am currently redoing the interior on and I can't seem to find the dash trim piece that goes on the pass side of the dash without vents.

Has anyone found anything that'll work?

Thanks for the help

Re: 73-80 Dash trim

I used LMC, billet dash piece. They have the one for the 73-80 non a/c. Mine was for an 86 a/c, but I'm happy with it. I added the dash emblem, it doesn't come already attached.

I did a quick search and didnt find a 73-80 non-a/c factory style piece either... sorry.

Yeah if billet is an option they are easy to find.

Mine is the 73-80 with a/c version & I also added an emblem to it.

Are you wanting billit? If not then the classified pages on here, or junkyards are your best bet. Craigslist?

Re: 73-80 Dash trim

I'm fine with the billet. I was under the impression those went over the existing trim?

Factory ones are out there. I haven't ever looked specifically for them, but I know I come across them often enough. This is out of a '76 or '77...not for sale though.

It came from Stylin Trucks years ago. It's an Empire Motorsports brand piece.
And then added the emblem.

No, these don't go over the existing trim. I believe the billet goes over the existing cluster, but not the dash or door trim. Here's a pic of the matching door trim.

That one looks like you might could make the center piece of the trim and pull the vents out and epoxy it in. Since it's flat vs the curved version Chaplain has.
