Interiors
Here's a quick update on my seats. I was going to try and reupholster myself but after tearing the seats apart it was a bigger job than I thought. I'm going for the original look. What do u guys have?

Re: Interiors
I have factory tall bucket seats but I would like some 2008+ Sierra/Silverado bucket seats. It would be nice to add the plaid that was an option.... Blue and white would be what fits for my 78 2wd Blazer...
Not my colors, but to give you an idea ... Last edited by mcmlxix; 01-29-2016 at 02:31 AM. |

Re: Interiors
Man that looks sweet. Ive always been a fan of those seat patterns. I say go that route instead of the newer model seat

This is the 67-72 pattern... but I would use the newer seats with better ergonomics and add the old style pattern.... my 78 has tall buckets anyway so Is would look close to original... Here is the blue 1978 plaid pattern.... |

Re: Interiors
That's true. I don't think I've ever seen the newer seat with an old pattern. Where's the photoshop guys that can render that for us? Lol

Re: Interiors
A friend in high school had a brown K5, I think it was an 81 or 82 model, it had brown plaid high back seats. You don't see it much any more.

Re: Interiors
Looks good. Did you have them done local and are you happy with the work? Im getting ready to have my 75 painted in April and get the entire interior done. I think I found a guy close by but always looking for another option.

Re: Interiors
I did them locally. We're not that far apart from each other. As far as me being happy.. so far so good. I know my seats were in pretty rough shape and the seat tracks and springs were all jacked up. I pick up my 73 tomorrow from the upholstery shop so I'll get the full scope tomorrow. I looked around for a while and finally decided on this shop. He had 5 stars on yelp and seems like a pretty stand up guy. Alex upholstery in tracy. Look em up. He's gonna get a good review from me as well. I'll post more pics tomorrow once it's complete
