Tahoe LIFT suggestions...? pics?

This my 2004 Tahoe Z71...

As soon as it is retired from "daily driver" status, I want to TASTEFULLY lift it and put on bigger tires...
I am thinking maybe 4"???

Anyone have pics to share that I can visualize different lift amounts and tires??
Also... did you change gearing? reprogram spedo???

I have never lifted a 4x4...

Re: Tahoe LIFT suggestions...? pics?

Wondering the same thing:
Looking at 4 inch suspension lift for Tahoe.

Rancho, SupreLift, SkyJacker, rough country....

Which ones to avoid, which ones has best quality parts, which are comprehensive......
Cut and WELD, or straight bolt on ?

Re: Tahoe LIFT suggestions...? pics?

Stay away from Rough Country their old solid axle lifts weren't bad but I have never heard anything good about their IFS lift kits what so ever. I have a Tuff Country on my '95 half ton and had pretty good luck with it. My new '03 1500 HD has a RCD lift and it's super nice and rides pretty smooth for a lifted tank. Both my trucks already had the lifts on them but I think they are pretty straight forward lifts if you're mechanically inclined.
