K5 Body Swap
How much trouble is it to put a 1984 K5 body on a 1979 K5 frame?

Re: K5 Body Swap
I believe the 73-91 frames are the same.
One thing to consider is DMV issues with fame VIN number different from body/title VIN number... |

I think the front frame horns are all that will be different, IIRC you'll have to trim them to use the 84 front bumper and brackets.

Re: K5 Body Swap
The frames changed in 81 and again in 83. I believe the rear seat floorboards are a different height which changed the shape of the frame in the middle.

Re: K5 Body Swap
The rear passenger foot well changed between 77 and 78 which necessitated a frame change. 78 through 91 frames are essentially the same, and 73 through 77 are the same. IIRC, but pretty sure that's accurate.
