cowl panel, no grates, solid? anyone?

Anyone go with a smooth, no holes or grate holes?

Would like to see pics of what it would look like.

Thanks,

Steve

I saw a truck featured in Custom Classic Trucks like that and it looked good. Unfortunately the article didn't elaborate on how it was done. Perhaps somebody in the paint and body section of the forum could share a litlle inside knowledge. There's some real pros lurking over there who are very generous with their wisdom.

Re: cowl panel, no grates, solid? anyone?

There were some in-progress pics of a smoothed cowl with the outer cowl panels welded and blended into it posted on the Facebook page a couple of months ago. Looked decent.

This isn't the one I was thinking of (can't find it at the moment), but it is a smoothed cowl panel.

Members Markeb01 and K5Addiction both have shaved cowl panels on their trucks.
