Tow Mirrors -- aftermarket or were they an option
I have posted similar posts in a couple of different threads with no success. Someone told me to post in the Square Body Thread. I thought that the trucks housed the mirrors was a 1989 but it appears that the square body was from 73 through 87. The mirrors may have been painted at one time. Were these aftermarket or were they an option from Chevrolet? Also, any idea the year of the truck?

Re: Tow Mirrors -- aftermarket or were they an option
The square body style carried thru to 91 in the one ton trucks. My 81 1 ton had a set of those style mirrors on it and they came in paint stainless and chrome. I think they were more commonly found on larger than 1 ton trucks. Our grain trucks on the farm all had them although I've seen them on trucks back thru the early 70s late 60s. Commonly referred to as west coast mirrors.
