K10 swap questions
I'm doing a swap on my 86 k10. I have a small amount of time and need to keep it in budget so for the time being I am setting up the fuel system with an external fuel pump. My biggest question is what do I need in order to finish putting the fuel system together? I'm using a return style fuel rail so I'm curious if all I need is the pump and the lines or if there's any other parts needed. I know most use the corvette fuel regulator combo but do I need that with the return style rail?

Re: K10 swap questions
If your going to use the return rail you don't need the vette filter reg..but you will want to put a good inline filter between pump and fuel rail. I used ss braid line with -an fitting all the way around. You can use steel line though.Your install may differ from mine so you'll need to figure out the parts you'll need, but the basics are you'll need a couple of pushlock fitting for the fuel rail (5/16& 3/8) to whatever line you use..and a couple more for the pump. Depending on the pump you'll be using..mine is a walbro 255 and uses -an fittings as well.

Re: K10 swap questions
You'll need to make sure you have a return fitting on your sending unit to. My old small block pump had the bypass line on it so I didn't have to worry bout it, I just looped my reg hose back into the tank there.
