Shocks on a bagged front end.......
Trying to get shocks figured out on my front end. It is Danforth crossmember with S-10 Donor parts.
Will this set up work, or do I need to get my shock closer to my ball joint? |

Re: Shocks on a bagged front end.......
With the shock mounted to the lower arm that close to the pivot point, it will do almost nothing. You will want it at least to the mid point of the arm.

Mount your spindle and wheel and turn the wheel so you can see just how much room you got to work with. The other option is start all over with a shockwave which is a air bag and shock combo.

Re: Shocks on a bagged front end.......
with tires clearance and over the frame headers I am pretty limited on space.
Does any body ever stick the shocks on the front's of the LCA's? |

Re: Shocks on a bagged front end.......
If it's a front steer setup, I think you will run into clearance issues with the steering linkage.

Re: Shocks on a bagged front end.......
There is a little room there, but it does get tight.

Re: Shocks on a bagged front end.......
Agreed. If you can cycle and turn the wheel in all directions and you keep a 1/4" minimum clearance, you should be fine.
