BOSS 338 8.5/5.25 BS/20" All Around

I want my truck to look level and all tires the same height. Anyone with boss 338 8.5/5.25 BS 20" all around?
Any information or pictures with tire dimensions.
Thank you.

Having your truck level has nothing to do with the width of the tires and rims really. I'd go with 20x10 for the back. Either level out your truck with the tire sizes or a bit more or less lowering in the front or back suspension.

Re: BOSS 338 8.5/5.25 BS/20" All Around

Thank you for the help guys.
What I was talking about was all the tires the same wall/side height. For example
255/45/20 all around. if I go with 10X20 in the back, I will need 285/40/20 to have the same height of tire but the wall/side of the tire is different.
If i don't make sense let me try drinking more beer and try again.

Do a search for Shorty c10. That's my build log. I'm Running 8.5's all the way around with 275/40's. Hopefully it will help you with a visual. 10's going the rear shortly!

if the 285/40 is the same height as a 255/45, there's no difference in the sidewall height. It's exactly the same front to rear! The only difference would be the 285 being wider. Tires can't get confusing at first!

Any rubbing with the 275 in the front?

Ric no rubbing left to right. I had to remove the inner fender wells though. Just because of the stance.

That's a much better decision, otherwise you would of had to of run spacers or the 20x8.5 with the 4.75" backspace. The track width on these trucks is different front to rear. A 20x8.5 looks sunk in and doesn't fill out the rear wheel well. Overall you'll be happy with choosing a staggered set.
