Question Cummins + C10 Suburban - Body Swap or Engine/Drivetrain Swap?

Okay folks, my husband and I are having a critical debate:
Should we swap the body from our 1970 C10 2WD automatic Suburban onto our 1996 12V 4WD manual Cummins? Or should we drop the Cummins into the C10 and swap out the drivetrain for a 4WD? Pros and cons...GO!

That was my initial reaction, but my husband is making some good arguments for the body swap ;-)

I also do not like the appearance of a body swap. Plus, I'm not really thrilled with the dodge frames in these years. They do have their cracking issues, and you also have licensing issues that could come up. (That really depends on the laws in your state) There are a couple of standard cab 4x4 trucks on here that have been done and don't look bad though. Steve Perry is doing one now.

I didn't think about adding about licensing issues in West Virginia they never check nothing unless it's a assembled or fabricated title and they just wait on you have a wreck so they can write you a ticket and laugh while you're get sued
