Thanks. It's not too bad. The front shocks are still stock and I have about a 6" drop on it so it rubs on larger dips in the road when it rebounds.

Wheels are 20x8 up front 20x10 rear. Not sure the back spacing but stock c 10 was what I ordered. I did use a 1/2" spacer in the rear though.

Hood struts were pretty easy. I just had to weld on an elbow tab to the fender with a ball socket I got off a Tahoe in the junk yard. I took the stock spring hinge apart and used the triangular tab that bolts to the hood for the top side but flipped them from left to right. The shock was trial and error as far as finding the open/closed length and strength. The parts people weren't able to tell me how much weight they could hold so I had to push down on them in the store till I found one that seemed right..lol. I can get the part number off it if you want.

I was finally able to find the front end parts I've been looking for in a yard the other day. The phantom grill was cool...in the 90's, but I dig this set up more. I also have a plan for the bumper so stay tuned..lol

Yes, there is no bend in the middle of it ;really wanted it to have a bit but it's not too bad. Everyone who has seen it in person seems to like the look of it.

It's a 2002-08ish Ford van rear bumper. Ordered it off ebay for 136 shipped to my door. All I had to do was fab up a few brackets by chopping up the stock ones and bolt her up. It misses the fenders by less than 1/2" on each side so it gives it a tucked Foose like look.

The coils in the brake lines are for body to frame flex and are needed if using hard line. If you switch to flex hose you don't need the coils.

Little problem with this build....on Feb 5th an unknown driver (fled the scene) hit and pitted me spinning the truck into oncoming traffic resulting in it being totaled.

I got TOTALLY screwed on the insurance money but kept the truck and am in the process of stripping it down to put parts on the 84 I bought.

In all this I have to thank my savior BigGuy who has agreed to help me get the body back in shape and painted....hopefully for a June truck show in MS.

I'll post pics when I get them loaded but they are just sad.

We could never get away with that front bumper in Texas, they require a front license plate, I have been pulled over for not having one a couple times in different cars. I love the look of the bumper so clean looking.

Well I was gonna give you an idea about the brake line (Copper Nickel line wrapped around a beer bottle once or twice looks clean), but man I'm sorry to hear about your truck.

If its at all possible still, would you be able to grab the part number on those shocks for the hood and maybe a picture of the setup if its not too ruined in that area?

I'm pretty sure TX is doing away with the front plate. I just registered one of my vehicles and was only given one plate. It may be by county though or something.

AZ has no front plate requirement but the police don't like it. The bad guys park their vehicles by backing into a parking space so the police can't easily find a suspect vehicle without getting out of their cruiser and walking behind parked cars.
