Reverse 1156 Socket

So does anybody have a good line on replacement sockets, 1156 single element.
I was able to clean mine up but would.like to replace the socket. The springs on the wire don't work so great and the little rubber boot is pretty stiff.
Thanks for the help

Re: Reverse 1156 Socket

Capn,
I have not talked to Tonya, I need to get in there and see her. Been to busy with family members and their health issues. I think I got everybody back on the right track, now I have about two weeks of being out of town for work.
I did get some little things done on the truck. Still waiting on body parts so it can start going back together, but of course nothing goes as planned, I was hoping to have it done by the beginning of summer now I will feel lucky to get it done before summer ends.
But pressing forward one thing at a time..
Thanks all for ideas and sugestions.

Re: Reverse 1156 Socket

I just replaced one of mine with a socket from Autozone (3/4"?) With a hammer and chisel, the old socket can be carefully removed from the reflector, and the new one goes right into place. It looked similar to this one...
