need help deciding what size tire/rim combo this is

I tried posting this to 4x4 section didn't see where to start a new thread. I'm building a project truck it's 4wd and I'm wanting to do a 35x16 bogger on a 16x14 rim but didn't how that would look. This picture is a setup that I'm looking for. I like the square tire look.

Boggers are a rough ride. And mounting a 16 width tire on a 14 width rim is difficult. It's not impossible, but expect a few tire places to tell you that they're not willing to do it.

However, there isn't much available for wide tires anymore. The Mickey Thompson Baja Belted tire was an excellent wide streetable tire, but they haven't been made in years. Nowadays, the Boggers are about the only thing you can find wide enough to mount on a 14 width rim.

Why would putting a 16 wide tire on a 14 wide wheel be difficult?

A tire that is listed as 16" wide isn't 16" wide at the bead, it's 16" wide at the sidewalls, properly inflated, as they bulge outwards. This section HAS to be wider than the rim, and the taller the sidewall, the bigger the difference.

A low-profile tire, like the kind you would find on a sports car, can have a section width very close to rim width. But a tall offroad tire needs to be much wider than the rim to protect the lip, seat properly, and function properly.

I have a set of tires 17 inches wide, 40 inches tall, and they were very difficult to mount on 14" wide rims. The local tire shop couldn't even do it at all, I had to mount them at home.

Interco themselves (the Manufacturer of the tires in question) specifies a 16x12 wheel for these tires, they don't specify a 14" width until the tire width gets over 18"
