My Sad News
Hi, All.
Well it was a bad Day for my Hot Rod Truck and I Sunday. I am fine with a few stitches and staples, but the truck is DOA. I will still be around. I am looking for another truck now.

Sorry to hear the news, both for you, and for the dwindling stock of old trucks!
Glad you're okay, though. When you get it stripped, take a picture of the frame -- I'd love to see what happened to it. Brian |

u made it
glad u made it ironbutt, must of been the harda** or was it the noodle bucket. did they at least ticket the other guy or was he out of there. i almost ended up in a cruiser in houston in 80's used to be rated 2nd highest mortality rate in country at time. hope that is the end of ur bad luck. at least u weren't on ur scoot or it would not be such a nice picture. like flying as long as u can walk away. just saw a 60-66 c10 step side red& white on ebay yesteday for $500 running i think. worth a look. if it s up my way willing to help tow halfway if it could work. take it easy iron -jw

ironbuttlcmc, sorry so new to this board that I don't know how to reply to your other message, but I do have a 66 SWB Custom Cab stepside in really rough shape. There is a frame and suspension though, it's pretty much complete.

Oh , wow man . Sorry to see this , Now I know what those girls feel like when the guy in the movie dies . Almost want to cry - WOW .
But My neighbor has A sweet 65 GMC 3/4 long fleet for sale . All stock & very straight . will go for $2500 firm . I will get some photos soon . Im in WASHINGTON . If you take this guy that hit you to court , get A bunch of print outs from ebay to prove your trucks worth . Someone nailed my wifes Nova & they jacked us on what our car was worth . Lost bigtime . SEARCH the ENDED FILES . Or take your Handy CHEVYDUTY catalog to court and show the prices of each part & start now by listing the total cost of each part that got bent and DOCUMENT IT . Thus proving to the court how much this guy REALLY owes you and what the truck was worth at the moment before he murdered A real chevy . Courts want proof , always of everything & the more details the better for you . Da_n --- Bring back public lynchings ! Glad you are ok ! I loved looking at that truck , Sorry to see this happen .

Glad to hear that you made it out alive. Just goes to prove that driving an old truck is *safer* than driving a Honda. Imagine that impact in a tin can.... Good luck searching out your next project.
