Axel Truss ... Dealer option??

Just wondering if anyone has one of these on their truck? Is it a dealer option or is it aftermarket?
Thanks
Jamie

looks like a p/o fabbed that up to me, because it doesn't look like it would do anything except make the frontend of the truck heavier. just gotta love those p/o's and their awesome mods

I have the exact same truss on my '71 Suburban. Not sure if it was a factory option though.

Yeah, my 72 blazer has one, the original owner told me it was there when he bought it. Nothing on the glove box sticker about it?
