Rear Fleetside fender braces?
Does anyone know if the stepside fender/bed side braces will work on a Fleetside?
I cannot find a set of the braces/rods for a Fleet at all and I'm not spending $70 on a new set. I even thought about trying some newer Chevrolet truck rods to see if they will work but I doubt it.

Re: Rear Fleetside fender braces?
So you keep the chains but have braces to keep it from dropping on the bumper? I'd be interested in some as well.

Yes sir. The long skinny rods that attach to the bed side lower fender part.

Re: Rear Fleetside fender braces?
It's just 1/4" or 5/16" rod with the ends hammered flat and a 5/16" hole (for standard body bolt) drilled through it. You can buy cheep steel rod at ACE hardware for about $8. A few hours with a hammer and a drill ......
