Insite monitor for ls swap

Put a 5.3 in my 72 short bed and looking to buy a monitor to watch mostly my engine temp and boost psi. What have you guys used or heard of people using for an insite monitor for the ls swaps?
Thanks

Re: Insite monitor for ls swap

Not sure what an insite monitor is. Are you referring to something like the Edge Insight?

The ScangaugeII, AeroForce Scangauge are both popular, as is the one that interfaces with an phone device (forget the name). If your willing to spend more, there are the higher end color display devices (Edge, HP Tuners, Diablo, and a bunch of others make tuner/display devices which can be used as display only devices, but they do cost $400+)

I've got the Edge Insight CTS (not the newer CTS2). It's pretty cool, bunch of neat performance gauges (accuracy? who knows...), engine temp, trans temp, mph, throttle %, etc. It is missing some things like O2 voltage and some more detailed diagnostics that I'd like to have, but overall, I like it. It's pretty much my speedo replacement since my 91' Burb speedometer is super flaky these days.

Re: Insite monitor for ls swap

I didn't want something that was on my phone that I had to watch wanted something that mounted and was there. Ended up getting the ultra guage. Pretty decent price. Like 70 bucks and you can watch four different settings.
