73-75 Blazer Window Seals

I have a 1973 Blazer. The outer window seal on the passenger side door was in bad shape and needed to be replaced. I ordered what I thought would work from LMC Truck. What I found out is in their 73-75 Blazer Window seal kit are window seals for trucks and full door Blazers.

They fit but since they are not for the full convertible Blazers, they turn up for the door frame. So that sticks up above the door. Does anyone know where I can get some made for a 73-75 Blazer? I've been tried to search here. I've looked online at Classic Parts, Classic Industries, Brothers etc.

Here is a picture of what I have. I guess I could try and modify them, but I didn't want to cut into them if there was a source for the correct part. I've gone round and round with LMC since what I bought said it was for a 73-75 Blazer.

I'm pretty sure you just have to cut them off. Just an aside, but the GM replacement doors were just truck doors and a template for where to cut. Cutting the weatherstrip won't hurt at all.

Do you have them on the worng door? is the turnup at the end supposed to butt against the quarter ligth on the other side? Interested to find oyut as I am about to fit a set of these (also form LMC) so I suspect that I will hit the same issue in 3 days time.

Re: 73-75 Blazer Window Seals

I never doubt my abilities to do something stupid, but I am fairly certain I do not have it on the wrong door. They mount from the inside of the door lip. So if I were to take it to the driver's side the part sticking up would be on the vent window side. Which is more of a right angle, not curved. Plus, if this were a door off a non-convertible, it would fit where the door frame goes up. LMC admitted they don't sell the correct ones.

I'm just exhausting all efforts before I cut them. Kind of my own, measure twice cut once.
