mirror options

i was going thru a book on task force trucks and saw some outside mirror options i had never seen before
all the pics in the book are period pics, no modified in the 70s pics

this looks like the stock pass mirror mounted on the cowl

this is a stock gm peap mirror for when you have the fender mounted spare
i've owned many trucks with a fender mounted spare and have never seen one, but they all had the holes for it

Re: mirror options

Those clamp on peep mirrors are next to useless going down the road. The replacement doors I have for my 71 have the holes to bolt the mirror stalks on that are similar to the top photo and I think I am gong to use them even though the doors came off a 67/69 or so truck. Solid simiple and the truck trinket brigade have stainless brackets for 22 bucks each.

48 Chev 3100 that will run a 292 Six.
71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.
