What belt to use for a 6.0 LQ4 without AC compressor?

Swapping a 2002 6.0 LQ4 into my 1972 K10. What belt number will work without the AC compressor? Thanks

Re: What belt to use for a 6.0 LQ4 without AC compressor?

I am kinda scratching my head that this question...

The AC compressor runs on its own belt. the rest of the FEAD (front engine accessory drive) belt doesnt depend on whether or not there is an AC compressor on the engine at all.

which ever belt you have is all the belt you need. typically the only other question you might have to ask is which alternator you have installed as they do tend to have different size pulley from the standard to the high output.

105 AMP ALT requires the 92.9 inch belt
145 AMP ALT requires the 93.585 inch belt

AC only belt is 38.453 inches

hope that helps to clarify things a bit?
