I find it interesting on your thoughts of pricing for theses tailgate trim between the Chevy and GMC. I have found that the GMC trim pieces are harder to find and cost a bit more than the Chevy.

That's why I said it would bring good money if it was a chevy, but no telling what it would bring since it's a GMC. Or at least that's what I meant. Been sick this week and not up to power. GMC parts all seem to bring more from what I've seen.

Ok got it. I hope you're feeling better.
I said that because, when I decided to add trim to my truck I searched and could not find new GMC logo trim and all the original pieces were very pricey costing more than some new and used Chevy. I finally found some locally.
Maybe I was looking in the wrong place to buy new.
Mine also need a little repair.

Small one for a chevy tailgate from LMC is $250. Didn't price the wide one, got scared.

They don't reproduce the wide one, so you wouldn't have found it anyways
