Traction bars/ flip kit?
Hello to all. Is adding traction bars another way like a flip kit? Reason I ask is because I'm considering traction bars in my 1978 short bed since I'm doing a LS1 swap and I don't want any wheel hop or warp the diff.. Leaf springs going under the diff made me think that it might be similar or I could be wrong. Any help would be appreciated thanks in advanced!

Re: Traction bars/ flip kit?
I have a friend that did an LS swap and already had a flip kit. He still had to add traction bars.

Re: Traction bars/ flip kit?
Calvert racing makes a really nice set of traction bars for our trucks that have had the rear axle flipped over the springs. Here's a link to their site.

Re: Traction bars/ flip kit?
Traction bars and a flip kit are completely different and do radically different things. Flip kits don't give you traction, traction bars don't alter the ride height at all.
