over my head?
Well I first want to say I admire the guys that can stick with these "project" trucks and see them through to a daily driver standpoint. as I set on the stool by my warm stove in the garage this wknd. having adult beverages and staring at my "project" for about 3 hrs. wishing I could do something productive or had the $$$$ to do something productive, I wondered "what the hell was I thinking when I bought you 15 yrs. ago"?? SOOO MANY places to start, SOOO MANY things that need to be done how in the world do you guys stay on it? or stay focused?
ok now for the question: the 5.3L I have in it sets pretty stinking low... I have it setting in there with dirty dingo LS swap mounts. are there any other companies or mounts you guys know of that are "taller" I'd like to raise it up a bit. I can't get my headers on. (mid to late 70's Camaro subframe grafted to the original 59 frame) the dang valve covers are just a bit higher in the engine bay than the upper "A" arms...

Re: over my head?
Me likes! I emailed them and asked how "tall" the mounts are. If nothing else I guess a guy could tweak on the weld to the frame pieces a bit to help raise the engine a tad bit. Thanks!!

Re: over my head?
I didn't like how low my dirty dingo's sat, so I cut them and added 3/4" to each of the 4 legs. Much better now.
