Nahhhh...but then again, there IS a sucker born every second...Actually, it might NOT surprise me if someone DOES offer me $5000, because 75's have became a lot more valuable, since they don't have to be smogged anymore...

That thing will be sitting in your driveway for years before someone buys it for 5k. I got mine for 5500 and it was straight as hell and clean as hell. New motor/tranny also. Suspension work already done and frame painted. Just had some little paint chips from cruising it so much.

I'd love to come across a Charger of that vintage for my dad. He owned a '66 for over 20 years, until the eastern Canada road salt and moisture took it's toll and sent it to the boneyard. They are next to unobtainable up there, now. It was his favorite car. He damn near cried seeing it go. I loved that car. That old 440cid had some serious get-up-and-go!! It would buy me some serious brownie points to even bring him home a nearly rust free basket case. Sorry to continue the hijacking of this thread.

I'm sure there ain't anyone quite sucker enough to pay that price for that truck!! Just clownin' on ya, Tim.....but yet, serious at the same time. I paid $1,200.00 for my original owner 76 High Sierra with factory 454. Rust free and completely original, from the paint right down to the original bias-ply tires(or, at least the two front tires were original). The valve covers had never even been off of it, until I replaced the valve seals about 6 months ago. I paid the man, started it up and drove it home. Only serious problem, was a nasty dent about 8" by 10", at the lower front of the drivers rear wheel well. Unless they are damn near perfect, trucks like that will go for $1,500.00-$2,000.00 all day long, around here.

Talking about inflated prices, my truck is worth way over 20K $ here 9it was appraised at that before I did more work on the engine, redid the interior, the exhaust, the brakes... and so on)
