Re: The 60-66 "PAYING IT FORWARD" thread!
MasterBrian,
I'm not in a big hurry I'm currently trying to figure out what intake I am going to go with either carb would work for my build. It's a 68 327 out of a Camaro stock 2 barrel with a 700r4 behind it with 373 gears. Thanks for the quick reply and a possibility of getting a carb at a reasonable price Sorry to give the forum a good laugh due to my auto correct on this darn IPad Rick |

Re: The 60-66 "PAYING IT FORWARD" thread!
Do you still have it? Sent you a PM too. I need to do some work on mine to make it right. It be easier to just do the swap if yours is in good shape.

62 Rear End - Eaton 373
Rear end is gone
373 eaton rear end out of a 62 c10. It was usable but wanted a higher gear for highway so I swapped it out. Probable needs seals and possibly a pinion bearing. Complete with as pictured - Axles were redrilled to 5x4.75 bolt pattern.

Center license plate thingy for a fleetside sport bumper. A tad rough, but still holds a license plate just fine. The original light was cut out at some point, but the working replacement covers the hole.
Pay the minimal shipping and it's yours. |

Re: The 60-66 "PAYING IT FORWARD" thread!
I have a reproduction black radiator fan shroud for a 64-66 that is new. I am near Springfield Il. Don't want to ship it as it is bulky and will be a pain.
If someone can use it and is going to be in the area, PM me and I will hook you up.

This is NOT a WTB post. If someone posts up something they are giving away, you can ask for it but you cannot request items.
Thanks for your understanding. Last edited by chevy_mike; 05-03-2017 at 10:44 AM. |

Re: The 60-66 "PAYING IT FORWARD" thread!
My project is done and I have some stuff to give away.
I have... A full 1965 cab: low hump ,small back window, has typical rot in floor and corners but is not beyond repair. Dash, roof, A & B pillars & back panel all good. A 1965 hood: has damage to passenger front, but not beyond total repair, no rust. 1965 Gauge cluster: everything works, I swapped in all AutoMeter stuff. 1965 inline 6: Ran when pulled 3years ago, complete. Everything is for free (or some beer donations). BUT!!! I'm not able to ship anything so you have to come get it. Everything will be available until about June 3rd, then it is going to the recycler. TXT me is best: 9-seven-0 - three - nine -0 - two - nine -two- zero -Josh |

Re: The 60-66 "PAYING IT FORWARD" thread!
I love the spirit of this thread. I sold my '65 K10 back in January, but I still have some random parts lying around that I'm not going to use, but are too nice to toss.
Scuttle from a '63 pickup. Other than the red oxide primer, it appears to be in good shape. I didn't see any obvious pitting. Set of LMC Truck bumper brackets for the rear of a short step. I ordered them just before buying a parts stash that had OEM bumpers and brackets that I ended up using. I never got around to returning them. Misc. OEM bumper brackets and fender braces. No idea whether they are for our trucks or not, but they came with mine and besides, free parts fit better. Local pick up from 06776 would be preferred, but I'll listen to offers for shipping if you pay. DM me here or email me at jaltemus@snet.net |
