Need help finding a post on using OE shift cable

I have been looking for 2 days on and off trying to find a build thread that used a 1999 up shifting cable in a 1967-72 truck. I think its was a 1971 or 72 green truck that had just the box repainted. If anyone has that build saved that would be great.

. I used the Lokar ACA-1800 in my suburban but when reversing up hills the shifter will pop out of reverse. I feel a cable option is best suited to correct this problem. For normal street use the rod style works fine.
