Rocker Replacement

So I took a vid of what I'm dealing with on my rockers here. I replaced it all once, but the outer rocker was too high, my door scraped.

I've seen people say fit the outer to fit the door, but I'm unsure of exactly where to put the A pillar, it can easily go up or down a 1/2 inch without anything tying it in.

I have a little over a week off around the fourth, so I'm hoping to at least get it roughed in at that time.

the ding dong should have put more braces on

I remember reading about this whole deal back last year before i did some rust repair of my own. from what i remember if you are replacing the floor, rocker, inner rocker, and cab support then once all the bad is cut out the panels should be replaced in this order

1 cab support
2 floor
3 inner rocker
4 outer rocker

I am pretty sure it was in that order from what i remember reading i only say this because it looks like you are going to do the inner rocker first instead of the floor by the way you talked in the video. if not then disregard.

maybe you could support the pillar with a jack underneath it and try to line up the door(also supported a bit) and get some kind of a rough idea where things are supposed to be in order to line up.

Well, the cab support is in there, and bolted to the mount, so I'm assuming it's correct. Of course, I could easily be wrong.

I've been operating under the idea that the floor goes on TOP of the inner rocker, not under. So I guess I'll have to figure that out now lol.

My general, amateur outline of a plan, is to cut that stupid brace off, hang the door, and use a jack to get the A pillar up. Then get the outer rocker fitted, but not installed, which will show me where the inner needs to go exactly as well as the kick panel.

From Milkcrate82's videos, I think the inner rocker goes before the kick panel.

Of course, this stuff all seems to be different than the factory stuff on the other side lol.
