Re: 2 months in Baja
Somehow I missed that this is a SM465 truck until your last post. Very cool trip. Good luck with the repairs.

Re: 2 months in Baja
I think my 90 Jimmy is almost done. Still want to get the hydro boost on and a few other kinks straightened out but i to know every inch of her. The 76 is rotted badly so putting the camper on the 90 seems to be the best way to go.
Not sure how to post pictures but i bet i have to be a paying member again to do so. i just did a core support swap on my 90 to run the base model grille so i could run the jw speaker 8900 series led headlights. I love them. DW

Re: 2 months in Baja
IMO this is the most important thing in a Baja rig.
Putting the camper on the '90 sounds like a good plan, especially since it's got the hydroboost. I don't think you have to pay to post pics, thats one of the reasons I like this site, don't have to pay to see them either. I use Flickr to post my pics, cause it gives up to 1TB of free storage. Once you upload them to Flickr click share on the main photo page. Copy the BB code from Flickr and paste into the body of your 67-72 post. You can preview the post first to make sure you got it right.

Re: 2 months in Baja
You do not have to pay to post pics, you don't even need an image hosting site. When you start a post if you scroll down below the white box where you type text you'll see a button called 'manage attachments'. There you can upload images directly from your computer. The only downside to this is losing the ability to mix images into text. If you use this feature, the text of the post will be at the top and images below. But if that doesn't bother you too much, you can skip the step of uploading pics to an image hosting site.

Re: 2 months in Baja
Kind of an off topic question, but how do you keep mosquitos out while you sleep in the blazer. Do you have some kind of mesh screen or something?

Re: 2 months in Baja
If there's bugs or its looking stormy we set up the tent. I think we spent one or two nights, out of about 25, in the tent.
