Rebuild Dana 60 Front
My K30 has an axle bearing making noises on the Dana 60 front end so I am figuring I may just rebuild the whole differential and be done with it. The question I have is does anyone have any recommendations on who would have the best rebuild kits? I mean the most complete. I hate having to get things piecemeal so if someone sells a kit with everything I need for bearings, seals, etc that would save hassle.

I've been using these, they also have a wheel bearing kit with seals.

Re: Rebuild Dana 60 Front
I checked out both and I am liking the convenience of Off Road Design. I am not a big fan of ebay but I used them if I have to. Thanks for the info, guys!

Re: Rebuild Dana 60 Front
I've used ORD and also a company called East Cost Gear Supply. When I went through my d60 on my 91, I had it stripped down to the bare housing. Everything I purchased was from ECGS, and it was nice stuff priced right. Ah the memories of replacing the king pins.....

Re: Rebuild Dana 60 Front
I came across East Coast Gear in my searching but haven't taken a closer look yet. I am really not looking forward to doing the king pins but the end result is going to be worth it.

Re: Rebuild Dana 60 Front
Hardest part is getting the actual top cone out of the C. Sometimes they can be a real bear to get out. I've had to get them hot with a torch and rap on it with my 3/4'' impact. If they are that tight I already have the new ones buttered up with Anti-seized and snap them back in while it is still hot. Takes a 7/8'' hex
