Talking Newbi

Hello everyone I am a new member Just looking forward to being here. I have a 1969 C20 I am just starting to restore. I look forward to advice and all impute. I have not worked on cars since i was 20 years old I grew up in the Barn tearing engines down and putting them back together. I am new to the classic cars and truck.

When i was 16 I had a 1972 c10 but my parents during hard times sold it I love the 1967-1972 body style.

I am a truck driver but disabled right now. 2 Years ago I was driving in Colorado in the middle of the night a Cow was in the road. It flipped the 18 wheeler over and went down a embankment. So the Project will be a long project.

Re: Newbi

Welcome to this incredible site. In my humble opinion these trucks are the best. Well, I have used all of pickups for work and these are some tough work trucks.

Post up a Picture of your project if you can. Folks here love pictures. You will get in return some priceless advice and opinions. Brian

Re: Newbi

Hey Guys I will post pictures this weekend when I pull her out of the Garage so a Buddy can pull the engine and I can strip the engine compartment and hope to start having the bed cab and the fenders all off this weekend or next. I am trying to figure out if I want to keep the leaf springs and the shocks or go to air ride. If i go to air ride i would have to wait for January when my court case finishes.
