I love this stuff! Here's a picture frame I made out of a door from a built in hutch in the living room of my grandfathers house as I saw it growing up and was on our homestead from the 1800's. It was knocked down in 1988 and I went into it and got this door and the drawer and a few other things the day before it was gone forever. The Picture frame is full of photos of the house. And the photo of my dad in the service below it is just how I remember that photo, right below it on the shelf, my whole childhood that is where that photo was. It was painted white as I remember it but my sister remembered it as a kid (she is 15 years older than me) as varnished so I did her shelf/drawer in varnish. The funky shelve in it were exactly as our grandmother did as they were dividers in the drawer.

And the drawer has some forties local newspaper as a "liner" and will be given to my older sister who remembered lining it with newspaper for our grandmother. The bathroom sink facet handle is now on my vintage toilet to flush.

And I have many more LOL I just love SEEING this stuff instead of leaving it in the attic, you know what I mean? The photo frame to the right with the two pulleys on it, that is a fifth grade school picture of mine taken in front of the stage in my school. The pulleys, yep they are from the ropes that controlled those very curtains! I got those the day after they knocked the school down (which was also the one my whole family went to.)

Yeah I love this stuff!
