blazer bucket seats

Ok guys, I have a guy who wants to buy the original front bucket seats and console out of my jimmy. Problem is I dont know what they are worth. Unfortunately I dont have any pictures of them. They are in moderate condition. One is missing the back. All the hardware is there and the console is in decent condition. I dont want to rip the guy off and I dont want to give it away. I would just like to know what kind of prices they are bringing. Any help would be great.

Buckets $175 to $250 and a crack free console is $50 to $75. Or maybe you could get lucky like this guy did on Ebay! $980!!!!!

Ok, so this may sound lame, but I got a bench seat from a 79 ford that can lean forward. I put it in because my fiance wants to be able to sit next to me when we drive. I also came up with a nice set of old buckets at a swap meet. I dont know what they came out of but I think they are more comfortable than the original jimmy seats, so If I ever go back to buckets, they will go in. My jimmy seats are in as good of condition as those on the ebay auction. The guy wants to buy my seats because his grandson sits in a child seat in the back of his 72 blazer and he currently has a bench seat that doesn't lean forward. Also, my seats are the same color as his originally were so they would be correct for his truck. To further add to my reason for selling is that they are taking up space in one of my parents sheds and this summer, we (my two sisters and I) are moving home from college so he needs the space. Ultimately I want to find a split bench out of a late model extened cab GM pickup to replace my ford bench. Thanks for the pricing advice. I'll let you know if he buys them. If not, they may go up for sale here.

I was watching that particular EBAY listing also. Do you really think that (*&*&) is going to pay? There are alot of rediculous bids on ebay. Alot of times the items come back on because people realize they have made stupid bids and don't pay. I think some people just bid crazy amounts to screw everybody up.

On the topic of seats,I have a 72 with what I beleave are original buckets, that are different than any I ve seen. There a square flat seat and back with a patern similar to a standard bench from a truck. Backs are square and metal not plastic and tapered like the others I've got.Hardware is the same.

utility buckets

c5blazer you have utility buckets. they are a heavy duty type bucket found in game warden trucks and the like. the square/low back will make it impossable for you to find an after market upolstery kit but you can have them made at a shop.

I got $300 for my buckets and console. They were in decent shape with broken plastic on backs and some minor vinyl tears.

Damn, swede413
Those look nice now. Mine are in MUCH better condition than yours were, but not as nice as yours are now. My seats sound like those that NuBomb had.
