I've got two motors out of an 80 something truck. Not sure when they changed the motor. My '77 wiring harness would not work with these motors. Had to put my motors from the old doors in the new ones.
Anyway, I have two. Let me know

They changed in 82 and up, at least my wire harness did.

power motors

See if you can get your old motors out so we'll know which ones you need. My '77 motors had to be grounded. The ground was created by bolting the motor up in the Sub doors I used. The motors in the Sub doors could not be grounded and were not designed to be grounded apparently because it looks as if the motors are encased in plastic and surrounded by a galvanized casing so the motor would not be grounded.

Call your local chevy dealership and see if they can tell you when they changed and what motor your truck requires.

Oh yeah, I had to elongate the mounting holes slightly in the Sub doors to make my old motors mount properly. So there is another potential problem for you.

I'm in Oklahoma City (toto were not in Kansas anymore) so if these motors will work let me know and i"ll sell them for $30 as well. I ship stuff often so can probably sneak them out on my bill.

I'm afraid these may not work. Let me know if you want help finding out, I know a couple of guys who work parts for a local Chevy dealer.

Unless I threw it out I have a complete power setup windows/locks/harness for 79-81 (may fit more)

I bought it from a member, and then I bought two doors loaded so I still have it in the box, if I can find the box.

If any one wants it PM me, looking for $ 125 shipped to your door in 48 lower.
