Window Stuff: Glass & Stainless.
I have a lot of the windshield and back glass stainless. All deep groove. Mostly just the mjor pieces w/o the corners and splices, so no absolute full sets. What would it be worth by the piece or a set of all the big pieces?
Also, I have some glass. door, big & small back window pickup, as well as Suburban doors, quarter, and hatch pieces. Also have vent window glass. I think it's all Safety Plate, not Soft Ray. What's this stuff worth? None of this ships well and I plan to take to Carlisle Truck show Aug 3-5. I'm taking other big hard to ship stiff like 4spd transmissions, bell housings, NP205 transfer cases, driver side doors in ok shape, passenger side fenders in good shape, power steering boxes, drive shafts, lower columns... too much to list. Wonder what any of what I listed is worth. I'm thinking $50-75>4spd, $200>NP205, $25>bell housing, $75-150> doors with hole in corner of skin, $75-150>fenders, $20> PS box, $30-50>driveshafts.

Hard parts are a tough sale, but I think your prices are fair. Window stainless is nearly impossible to find without flaws.....wish I was closer to pick through that sweet pile!!!! Harlow

Re: Window Stuff: Glass & Stainless.
It's a hard thing to ship, isn't it? Windshield is worst. The windshield halves are the toughest part. I need one set for my '67 out of that heap.
I know hard parts will be tough. Nothing pretty or exciting, or even all that hard to find. For what it's worth, for this year's Carlisle Truck show I'm bringing a mini-junk yard and playing that up. Rather than the usual "No one buys those, leave them home" I'm flooding my spaces with parts of all types... all 67-72. It will be a lot of work. I may do two trips up which means three total. I have good stuff for the tables, good hard parts, and some stuff I'll just be glad to see get used and not take home. I'd like to find someone to buy the lot of the hard parts... cheap

Re: Window Stuff: Glass & Stainless.
So what would the three major pieces of good stainless be worth? Or single odd pieces? How about good OEM glass?
