Need help ASAP with 63 vent window reinstall
Putting vent windows back in on buddy's 63. Fresh paint, new rubber. Need to know about the rubber that surrounds the frame that goes against the door. Does it pull out (with cord) to overlap the door metal like on a windshield? Or, does it simply butt up inside the door frame?
Thanks, need to get these in to finish reassembly of the door today. |

The vent window frame seal goes to the inside of the channel...

Well, we went ahead and pulled it with wire to overlap the sheetmetal. Like installing a windshield gasket. Looks great, and will keep the water out.

Re: Need help ASAP with 63 vent window reinstall
Unfortunately, it won't keep the water out, and it will be pretty noisy driving down the road.
