Unbelievable - O/t
THIS IS NUTS!!!!!!
I woke up this morning and thought I had slept for 6 months. Then I checked the calender - - It's May11th and we're getting snow - - and not just a little, but a freaking dumping On Sunday, it was in the low 20's (low 70's F) out here - beautiful. Two days later we get this. This does not do alot for our reputation as the "Great WHITE North". For all of my southern friends, believe me this is VERY abnormal. Although, since this system came from south of us, I assume there may have been some white stuff in the Northern US as well. Oh well, eventually this will go away and we'll get that beautiful summer we always get. Last edited by Zilverado; 05-11-2004 at 02:05 PM. |

OK, so I'm not sure why the photo is not working (could be something to do with my office's internet security...).
Anyway, close your eyes and imagine your looking down on a white street from a 3rd floor window. Snow (big wet flakes) is falling down like crazy. Parked cars are already covered in a 2" layer and still more coming. So that's the mental picture. Unfortunalely for us, it's alot more than just mental. |

Someone from http://web.camaross.com/forums/showt...hreadid=260367 showed pictures of the snow up there. Thats more snow than we had all winter.

Yah, that's what it looks like. Judging from the Manitoba plates on the car in the pictures, I imagine it's taken from my area somewhere.
Oh well, variety IS the spice of life, right? |

Hmmmm. Wonder if their is going to be a tourist rush to get up there????
I rememeber stuff like that when I was in Japan, (northern end) It almost never failed to dump about 8-14 incehs during the 1st week of May. Of course that was the norm, just an odd norm. It looked pretty from the internet. Hmmmm Wonder how these Mississippi folks would react to snow in May ?
