66 seat rail return spring

Just put the newly upholstered bench back in the 66 with a question....Was there ever a passenger side seat rail return spring? Has anyone put one in? Never found a frame rail hole like the drivers side for one, but the passenger side of the bench does tend to be “a little behind” the location of the drivers side, usually a whack of the seat back sets it in the last notch anyway.....

Interesting question. I wonder if it would not want to travel in the opposite with a spring over there.

Good point, the drivers side spring is pretty strong, probably to move both sides. It does take a rear end and some foot pushing to get that sucker to move.....

Re: 66 seat rail return spring

I think they only use one spring. I had a normal seat and have a custom comfort seat, both have/had one spring. May have been a coincidence.
