antenna wire routing?

On a factory radio install, where does the antenna wire enter the cab?
My '65 suburban didn't come with a radio. years ago i put one in and just hacked a hole under the cowl extension, right where water runs down from the cowl vent,so even tho i sealed it with silicone and plumbers putty it still leaks.
